we have Honeywell system which is OPC Server and should communicate to Emerson server which is OPC Client
we already had OPC Explorer working fine on Emerson server
but when we try to link the points inside OPC data Manager we face error "could not connect to opc server due to the following system error: the system can not find the file specified. error browsing OPC server. there may be a problem connecting to your OPC server, or your OPC server may not support browsing"

You need to decide on your architecture before trying to implement a solution. If you are trying to link the DeltaV OPC Server and Experion OPC Server, you need Data Manager. If you will be using the DeltaV OPC Client to pull data from the Experion OPC Server then you do not need Data Manager.

You do not need to share points if you have an OPC Client pulling from an OPC Server. The only time you need Data Manager is when you are trying to join two OPC Servers together in the situation where no OPC Client is available to connect to the OPC Server.

Hola Buen día

Recibo información en Base de datos Oracle desde un servidor OPC en Delta V, tengo instalado Buffer, es necesario depurar de vez en cuando estos buffers?

I receive information in Oracle Database from an OPC server in Delta V, I have Buffer installed, is it necessary to debug these buffers from time to time?

How do that?

saludos!!
