Hello, There are 2 servers, one in the PC host and another one in the VM guest (same PC), connection to the server at the guest while OPC Explorer is on the same, is OK, but when I try to connect to the server at the guest on the VM I am unable. I have also try to connect from the guest to the host when OPC Explorer is on the guest but same result. The VM is a VirtualBox Machine, I have tried through host-only network but no result. Is there a need to use a Tunneller to make possible this connectivity? Any advice? Thanks in advance. Edited by user Wednesday, August 31, 2022 12:27:15 PM(UTC)

This is a really late reply but in case others come here to see a reply, here it is: I would use UA Tunneller to test this connection out. Reality is that there is likely DCOM related errors here and UA Tunneller would get you past them. IF that does in fact work, it would help by giving you a focal point to troubleshoot from. Here is a link to both UA Tunneller trial and DCOM documents. https://www.matrikonopc....ts/opc-ua-tunneller.aspxhttps://www.matrikonopc....m-configuration-opc.aspx==================== Pat Hunt Solutions Consultant Matrikon OPC ==================== |
